This work was necessitated by the agency’s unprecedented growth over the last 15 years. Renovations within the existing building included a new warehouse and loading dock as well as greatly expanded manufacturing facilities . With the modifications to the building over one hundred persons with vision impairment are be employed by the Association. The three-story addition provides new space for early childhood education for children with vision impairment, expanded offices for client services, an expanded eye clinic, a library, a new lobby and a large multi-purpose room.
